Of course they didn't. Worse. They started calling me.
Worse. They started calling me and when I told them that they shouldn't be contacting me they would get aggressive with me and start shouting at me down the phone.
I checked my status on their website:
"We will not email you"
"We will not call you"
All I needed was a box that I could tick to stop them calling AND shouting at me.
I decided that perhaps I needed to go up the ladder. Surely Simon Hughes MP could not approve of such behaviour... surely?
